What Are Negative Ions?

Negative ions are electrically charged particles that float in the air around us all the time. The ratio of positive ions to negative ions in newborn babies is 20 percent to 80 percent. This is believed to be optimal proportion for humans.

However as the years go by and environment changes, the negative ions in our body start to decrease and the positive ions start to increase.  This will cause blood to be more coagulated in our body and more acidic in nature.

The absorption of nutrients and release of wastes become less efficient, causing our metabolism and body functions to slow down. This will lead to various illnesses.

Do You Have Enough Negative Ions to Stay Healthier for Life?

According to the Asian Medical Journal, the amount of negative ions per cc of air can cause different effects:

1) Promote self-healing: 100,000 ~ 500,000 ions/cc (per cm3 of air)
2) Kill bacteria, elimimate odour, detoxify: 50,000 ~ 100,000 ions/cc (per cm3 of air)
3) Strengthen immunity, increase body resistance: 5,000 ~ 50,000 ions/cc (per cm3 of air)
4) Basic need to maintain health: 1,000 ~ 2,000 ions/cc (per cm3 of air)
5) Trigger illnesses and disorders: Below 50 ions/cc (per cm3 of air)

How Many Negative Ions You Can Get In Our Daily Environment?

1) Confined air-conditioned rooms (Office): 0 ~ 25 ions/cc (per cm3 of air)
2) Green areas in cities: 100 ~ 200 ions/cc (per cm3 of air)
3) Parks in cities: 400 ~ 600 ions/cc (per cm3 of air)
4) Suburbs, green fields, countryside: 700 ~ 1,500 ions/cc (per cm3 of air)
5) Mountains and seashores: 5,0000 ions/cc (per cm3 of air)
6) Natural forests, Waterfalls: 50,000 ions/cc (per cm3 of air)

How Do Free Radicals Affect Us?

Free radicals oxidize our cells. Our bodies go through oxidation every second. A free radical is an atom with at least one unpaired elctron. All atoms need electrons in pairs to become stable. Thus a free radical moves freely to acquire an electron from its surrounding, even from the body cells.

This free radical will damage the cell and lead to cell abnormalities and chronic conditions like cancer, cataract, diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, arteriosclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, stroke and others. Many past medical literature have reported more than hundred kind of diseases related to free radicals.

How do we stabilize a free radical so that we can reduce the damage done to the body? Negative ions can neutralize free radicals, preventing it from entering the body and purify blood, rejuvenate cell, enhance immune system, balance autonomic nervous system.

Three Effective Principles for Negative Ions to Work

- High Density
- Long Duration
- Direct Contact to Skin

Wearing negative ion fibres 24 hour with the above principles ensures most effective health care management with negative ions.

15% of nature’s negative ions is inhaled and absorbed through the lungs, 85% of negative ions is absorbed from skin, the largest organ of our body. (Extracted from: The Rule of Negative Ions Healthcare)
