Chronic pain is a persistent and long lasting pain that can last for weeks, months, or even years. It can be caused by a variety of factors, including underlying health conditions, injuries, or nerve damage.

¬†Chronic pain can have a significant impact on a person’s daily life, affecting their ability to work, sleep, and perform everyday tasks.

Treatment for chronic pain often involves a combination of medications, physical therapy, and other pain management techniques.

In the 1840s, Dr. Braid started using Hypnosis as the only form of anesthesia when performing surgery. Hypnosis fell out of favor once the pharmaceutical companies made pain medicine readily available.

Today, Hypnosis making a come back as an alternative or supplement to these pain medications especially when dealing with chronic pain. Studies have shown an extremely high 93% success rate of Hypnosis after a series of six sessions.

When considering Hypnosis for pain management, consider what a 25% drop in your pain level would mean for you. Consider what a 50% drop or even a 75% drop in your pain level would do for you. The goal of Hypnosis, of course, is 100% drop in pain level or at least make the pain manageable so it doesn’t interfere with your daily life.

I’m Dr. Kent Biehler D.P.M. and a Board Certified Hypnotist. In all my years of practice, I have found it extremely satisfying when I am able to help someone control or eliminate their pain and get their life back using Hypnosis.

Hypnosis is a process. Even though changes can happen rapidly, studies suggest the best results happen with two to six sessions.
